Wildlife hike at Brooker Creek

We went for a hiking adventure at Brooker Creek preserve this morning. Lots of wildlife on display: a coyote (!! or similar, from the car on the way in), an egret, two very large turtles, lots of beautiful unnamed birds, a cricket, a terrifying enormous striped spider in a massive web, and about a trillion mosquitoes. Both children loved it and then got really hot and tired and fell asleep in the stroller hours before they usually nap.
