Today was the last day of school, which included the bridging ceremony for the children leaving the Kindergarten to go to First Grade - like Emerson! Each child is called to cross the rainbow bridge and light a candle, which they then place in a large shell before going to stand with their First Grade teacher, Mrs. Brown. It was beautiful. (Mama cried.)
After that, it was time to go to Honeymoon Island for the great boat launch. The boys were sooooo excited to sail the boats they had made over the past few weeks that they sailed them in a puddle in the parking lot. We did eventually move to the beach and sail them in the waves (though Ethan's was not totally sea-worthy).
It was a great year! Now looking forward to a great summer.
