Mini Golf

One of the things we did while on our trip in Michigan was play mini golf. Eric and Emerson vs. Ellie. Eric won't say who won (it was me). But, in his defense, he did have a slight handicap.

Five months old

Emerson turned five months old on a beach in Michigan. I have absolutely no idea how heavy or tall he is. I just know he is delightful and getting more so every day.

Camping at Arroyo Seco this weekend, Emerson got another chance to love the water. He actually kind of seemed to enjoy getting dipped in up to his armpits and it triggered his swim reflex, sending his arms and legs flapping!

Lucky kid

It's Saturday, so Emerson is wearing his Berkeley Farmer's Market shirt (and his extra chin). Emerson owes this shirt, along with a significant amount of his other loot (clothing, Moses basket, swaddling blanket, and much more) to Mykael and my father ("TBA"). Thanks so much for everything! He is, indeed, a very lucky kid (and so am I).

PS I put socks on him right after I took the picture - I swear!
